Leading with Integrity

Steven E. Glauser, Ph.D. is Vice President, Organizational Consulting, for Right Management and serves as Subject Matter Expert for Team Development.

With organizations undergoing continuous change, it is more crucial than ever for leaders to develop and maintain work relationships that are trustworthy, genuine, and based upon respect. As each day becomes less predictable, roles become ambiguous and authority tenuous. Leaders provide a much-needed source of stability when they consistently model expected ethical behavior, demonstrate concern for the people they lead, maintain focus on the results that are to be achieved, and build integrity into everything that they do. When people feel their leaders are trustworthy, they are more committed to share vital information with them, contribute to the goals they set forth, and give them the "benefit of the doubt" as needed.

Right’s presentation is designed to help leaders gain a deeper appreciation for the impact of trust and integrity on leader-follower-peer relationships. They will learn the specific behaviors and actions that build greater trust with the people they lead. Each leader will learn how to identify ways to strengthen their leadership performance in areas key to integrity-based leadership:

    • Driving the Vision and Going for Results
    • Organization and Individual Ethics
    • Demonstrating Passion and Compassion
    • Promoting Resilience and Change
