About Our Speakers
Revonda J. Moody, FLMI
President, RM Associates
Revonda began her career in the underwriting department of a life insurance company.
She went on to work for a local agency as manager of their life and health department. While there, she established a successful group benefits practice.
She worked for large international brokers for over 15 years gaining experience in all aspects of group benefit programs.
In July, 2004 Revonda started RM Associates, Inc. an employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm.
Revonda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources Management from Wilmington University. She also holds the FLMI (Fellow Life Management Institute) designation and has completed one of three parts toward Labor Relations Certification.
Revonda is a member of the Ambassador and Healthcare committees of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, an Honorary Commander at Dover Air Force Base, past President and Delaware State Director of the National Association of Insurance Women. Her SHRM experience includes Board Member – Delaware Chapter of SHRM, HRCI/Education Director of Delaware State Council of SHRM, Board member. Currently, she is Immediate Past President of Delmarva SHRM, serves as a Member at Large on the Delaware SHRM board and is Legislative Director for the Delaware State Council of SHRM.
Wendy K. Voss, Esq.
Partner, Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP
Wendy concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment, and general commercial law. She regularly represents management in a wide variety of industries and in locations throughout the United States. She provides counsel to human resources personnel and other members of management in both the public and private sectors regarding personnel policies and practices, union avoidance and collective bargaining, reductions in force, employee supervision, and employee benefits. She assists employers in defending claims of wrongful harassment, employment discrimination, wage and hours violations, and claims made under the ADA, FMLA, and other state and federal employment statutes. She represents employers in regard to such matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, NLRB, and Delaware Public Employee Relations Board. In addition, she provides her corporate clients with advice on general business matters, including contract negotiation and regulatory matters.
Wendy received her undergraduate degree, with High Honors, from the University of Michigan. She received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the William and Mary Law Review. She is a member of the American Bar Association sections of Labor and Employment Law and Litigation, and a member and former Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association section of Labor and Employment Law
