    This Two Part Series starts with Generational Diversity Management. This topic will explore some of the factors that influenced each generation and help to explain how they view the work, work life balance, respect of authority, etc. This presentation will look at how managers can effectively lead/manage a workforce that could be comprised of individuals from up to four different generational groups. Part two, Leadership in Changing Times will cover leadership techniques that help your company remain resilient and benefit from our ever changing business environment. 

     

    Participants will learn how to adopt a consistent strategy for interfacing with coworkers and managing or motivating different groups of individuals. Participants will learn how to help their company create a culture in which change is fully embraced instead of feared.   

     

     

    Participants will have a better understanding of generational behaviors in the workplace and be able to manage/motivate employees more effectively. Participants will engage in leadership techniques that will enable them to be more effective leaders.


    Participants will be able to manage their workforce better by understanding the behaviors associated with each generation. They will also be given tools to help their organization embrace "change" and see is as a positive for everyone.

    Lynn Richardson is a Senior Human Resources Professional with over 25 years of HR experience.  His primary expertise includes employee relations, leadership training and salary administration.  
     
    * Lynn has worked in the staffing industry since 1986. His current responsibilities include employee relations, salary and benefits administration and leadership training. He is a certified instructor for the Franklin Covey course on "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People".  He also conducts supervisory and manager training for many of SOS Staffing Service's key clients.  
     
    * Lynn has participated in several executive level Human Resources roundtable discussions hosted by the Utah Business Magazine.  He has been invited to speak at the David Eccles School of Business University of Utah, Utah State University Partners in Business Human Resources Seminar, Salt Lake County Department of Workforce Services Employer Committee, National Association of Purchasing Agents (Salt Lake City chapter) and several local SHRM conferences including Gillette WY, Amarillo TX and Idaho Falls ID.
